To recover the Central Plains, Zhuge Liang made six expeditions to Qishan, however he was died of life exhaustion at Wuzhangyuan. The last emperor of Shu was finally eliminated by Family Sima. Sima Yan usurped the power after the death of Cao You and established his reign as Jin. AD 280, Western Jin overturned Wu, it brought an end to the Three Kingdoms Period.
