Varekort Illicit desire (region 3)

Director Chang Cheh and his stars Ti Lung and David Chiang were known as the "Iron Triangle" for their many successful films together. But perhaps they should have been known as the "Iron Rectangle" because of the invaluable contributions of action choreographer Liu Chia-Liang (AKA Lau Kar Leung). This post-Chinese Revolution adventure of rebels battling warlords is a prime example of the quartet's remarkable skill behind and in front of the camera. Their teamwork made this a 1971 top-ten hit.

Shaolin & Wu Tang
A Manchu Prince (Lung Wei Wang) uses trickery to coax the secret fighting skills out of the Shaolin and Wu Tang masters. He then creates a rift between two young students (Gordon Liu and Adam Cheng) who were once the best of friends despite their respective backgrounds, forcing the two disciples to return to their temples and seek advice from their superiors. When they later reunite, their differences forgotten, Shaolin and Wu Tang team up to fight the Manchu menace.
Gordon Liu's ("Shaolin Master Killer") directorial debut features plenty of beautifully choreographed fights, an opening credit sequence worth the price of purchase alone, temple training scenes that surpass those in "Shaolin Master Killer", and some eye-opening Wu Tang sword training, making "Shaolin And Wu Tang" a must for any fan of traditional martial arts.

Flaming brothers
A richly textured, violent, and deeply involving saga of two men who rise to the top of the Hong Kong Underworld despite their humble beginnings as street urchins in Macau.
Stunning and visceral, this bold, blood-soaked spectacle resonates heavily on many levels, as it skillfully unravels the inescapable and inevitable fate of two blood brothers who struggle to evade the violent world they have created.

Poignant performances from the leading men Chow Yun Fat and Alan Tang combine with Joe Cheung's skillful direction to deliver a powerful but tragic gangland thriller with the brutal realism of "Scarface" and the emotional intensity of John Woo's magnum opus "Bullet In The Head".
